There is a darkness in Violet that only Grey can pull out of her and it is in that darkness that the best moments happen. However the passion between them is just a raging inferno. They hate each other and you can literally feel it. These two have some serious chemistry between them. I know that is not a lot about the story but I think you just need to dive into this book and not know a whole lot about it. She knows his secrets and he is bound and determined that she does not let those secrets spill if it is the last thing he ever does. He is a hockey player and the son of a senator. These two have so much anger and animosity between them that it actually oozes off the pages of the book. You will want to read and heed the warnings in the beginning of the book because it might contain triggers for some readers.
